We're about to finish the first set of demos from our new album. From these will come a new 7" for the song 'It Won't Show' with rad art by Jenny Wehrt. Starting to confirm dates for a West Coast tour in August!! Busy, just like we like it. xo

Everyone has well heard about our van accident in July 2008. We would just as soon forget about it, but unfortunately our medical bills REFUSE to be forgotten...
When our friend Oliver Ackermann, frontman for a Place to Bury Strangers, heard the news, he suggested recording a Prids tribute album, with proceeds going towards these stubborn medical bills. With the help of our good friends Hillary Johnson and Tony Ramo it became a reality. In April of 2009, Dots to Connect was released.
Bands included on this compilation:
A Place To Bury Strangers, Autodrone, Bell Hollow, Charmparticles, Entertainment, Green Circles, Hearts Fail, Helvetia, Me You Us Them, Roman Numerals, Sleepmask, Soft Tags, The Suffocation Keep (Brett Nelson of Built to Spill), Swann Danger, The Upsidedown, Veil Veil Vanish, We Float, The Wendys (Factory Records).
Dots is a Digital Only release.
Buy it on iTunes
Thanks for your support!!! oxoox

Well if we manage to never crash and almost die again, perhaps I can give this website the attention it deserves on a regular basis!
We have all almost fully recovered. I say this because some of us are still in physical therapy and almost everyone still hurts in places they didn't hurt before. But we're alive so no complaining! We've been playing shows and I just recently booked a US tour for March! Very excited to get out on the road again.. even if it means I will be wearing my bike helmet and wrapping myself in bubblewrap... you know.. JUST IN CASE.
Thanks for everyone's support since our tragic accident. It meant the world to us, and most certainly helped us heal up knowing that we're appreciated, not forgotten.
Much love to you all, and we'll see you in MARCH! Go check out the dates! :)

Our dear friends The Prids - David, Mistina, Joey and Maile - and two of their significant others - Kristin and Chris - were in a serious accident early Sunday evening while en route to Los Angeles on tour.
A tire blew and they lost control of the van and it rolled several times. David was airlifted from the scene of the crash, he suffered a broken collar bone, broken ribs and has 6 staples in his head. Chris broke his arm and may have spinal injuries. Maile has a broken vertebra and toe and a severe cut with stitches on her knee. Joey broke ribs, Mistina suffered a concussion, and as far as I know Kristin is in similar shape. As of late last night, everyone had been released from the hospital but David had to go back in the middle of the night and is still there. The rest are staying at a hotel in Fresno.
A special paypal account has been set up to help out and donate directly to The Prids. They need help getting home and paying their hospital bills. If you can't help out monetarily, please repost this info on your blogs, etc. Thanks!
If you have problems with the link, you can send money directly to "donate@theprids.com".

Our California tour begins next week. We have a couple shows in the LA area as well as San Francisco, check it out.. We're working on new material for album number 3, drinking lots of Corona and sunbathing. You should see David's new tubetop.
Ohhh and we have a kickass new chick keyboard player. DudeDudeChickChick! Ironically, the band is a lot less pussy than before. Wait....
