07/21/08 Please help - terrible accident!

Our dear friends The Prids - David, Mistina, Joey and Maile - and two of their significant others - Kristin and Chris - were in a serious accident early Sunday evening while en route to Los Angeles on tour.

A tire blew and they lost control of the van and it rolled several times. David was airlifted from the scene of the crash, he suffered a broken collar bone, broken ribs and has 6 staples in his head. Chris broke his arm and may have spinal injuries. Maile has a broken vertebra and toe and a severe cut with stitches on her knee. Joey broke ribs, Mistina suffered a concussion, and as far as I know Kristin is in similar shape. As of late last night, everyone had been released from the hospital but David had to go back in the middle of the night and is still there. The rest are staying at a hotel in Fresno.

A special paypal account has been set up to help out and donate directly to The Prids. They need help getting home and paying their hospital bills. If you can't help out monetarily, please repost this info on your blogs, etc. Thanks!

If you have problems with the link, you can send money directly to "donate@theprids.com".

07/ 9/08 Touring!

Our California tour begins next week. We have a couple shows in the LA area as well as San Francisco, check it out.. We're working on new material for album number 3, drinking lots of Corona and sunbathing. You should see David's new tubetop.

Ohhh and we have a kickass new chick keyboard player. DudeDudeChickChick! Ironically, the band is a lot less pussy than before. Wait....

06/ 3/08 California!

Tour dates just announced with Babyland! Half completed with the new album. Stay tuned!

02/ 5/08 New 7" and California tour announcement!

Hey everyone! We're digging the revised site aren't you? Our friend Dan spent many a long night working on it and now we owe him, at least a million beers I think. The original artwork you see was done by the lovely NubbyTwiglet. You should check out her stuff. Lady is gonna be famous!

Our new 7" "Something Difficult / One Thousand Five" has FINALLY come back from the press and they are AWESOME! Gee Voucher of legendary anarco-punk band Crass designed the cover. Limited edition of 500 and in various colors. If I'm still in a good mood tomorrow, I will let the first 10 people who order choose from my list of colors. Better hurry, I'm SO MOODY.

ALSO-- BLACK CREST SHIRTS are back in the shop!

We have been keeping busy! Look for a new album in the fall. We're hitting California in late March, see you then!
